Introduction to me and this webpage.

Hello and Welcome!  I built this website to better understand and teach Bible Prophecy, especially the pretribulation rapture, a pre millennium view. I knew that this was a serious undertaking when I began:

James 3:1 Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, for you know that we who teach shall be judged with greater strictness. (RSV)

Therefore, most of the "articles" at this website contain plenty of scripture, bible quotes & bible verses (Who am I to think I can do better than the Word of God?) Most of the articles are created in response to questions, comments, or arguments put forth by people who challenge the pre tribulation rapture.  At first, I did not know whether or not there was such a thing as the rapture at all, when I started my studies (and this website) with The Mark of the Beast (666) [likely to be a biochip implant!] linking over 100 other webpages.  Eventually, I learned about about the pre tribulation rapture, and I began to quote a few scriptures on that--not even really holding any position myself, just listing a few rapture scriptures  By listing the scriptures only, without commentary, helped me to get a feel for what the Bible alone teaches.  Although 1/20th of the visitors to my "mark of the beast" website found the rapture page, 1/2 of the incoming email attacked the pre tribulation rapture, with some rather unscriptural arguments.  Many said "I'd better be sure I'm not misleading people."  So I studied more and listed more verses on the rapture.  I believe if scripture doesn't say it, then neither should I.  Eventually, the focus of this website changed from the mark of the beast, to the rapture.

There are a number of large, ongoing studies at this webpage.  There is far too much here to read in one sitting, about 2 megs so far, so please bookmark the site.  Since the end of April 2001, I have discovered that most of my visitors are returning from bookmarks.  Four people have returned to this website over 100 times in less than a month.  Just about 50 people have viewed the main page between 50 and 99 times in less than a month.  For you regular visitors, please email me more often.

Also, I plan on creating a new webpage, a listing of all the reasons the rapture is "pretribulation."  My guess at this time is that I can list just over 100 reasons, each backed by a single scripture or more, but we'll see.  People like lists and summaries, so that will be a good task to tackle.

I am not affiliated with any religous organization.  No King but Jesus!  You, the readers, who email me scripture, keep me on my toes and accountable.  [Prov 27:17] "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend."  Not only does the incoming email, both pro and con, help to provide motivation, but also ideas for content because it shows me what people are concerned about.  So feel free to email me anything!

(In case you were wondering about the spelling of propheSy vs. propheCy.   When I created the url for this page, I was unaware of any significant difference.  I just knew it was spelled both ways.  Commonly, prophecy is the noun, and prophesy is the verb.  However, prophesy is also just a variant spelling of prophecy, which is the more common spelling, so prophesy with an "s", although the uncommon spelling, can be used as both the noun and verb.  Since propheSy can be used both ways, I stuck with propheSy.  Later, I learned I chose the less common spelling varition.)


In 1999, in a vain and failed attempt to get a few scoffers to take my studies more seriously regarding the Feast of Trumpets, I predicted a Rapture for Sept. 10-11th, the Feast of Trumpets. Here is a cut and paste from my index page on Sept. 13, 1999 left in full, with nothing altered, including a formal, and extensive apology.

A few enterprising people who love to poke fun at prophecy minded people have found my mistake of false prophecy and/or apology facinating enough for a link and/or review.  Although these people are scoffers, they are a reminder to keep me humble, and remind me to not make the same mistake of date setting again.

I never wanted to write on any topic when I first made this webpage. All I wanted to do was quote the Bible, and other people's webpages. However, based on all the email I've gotten from people who wanted to know more, or who challenged a topic presented, I started creating more webpages to help explain things as I understand them, according to my limited knowledge. Really, if you want to know more, the best source is the Bible itself. That's why I link to all those Bible links.

    • Gold: I think its market-manipulated low price must continue to decline as long as the current world monetary system is in place.  As the price of gold will and must move dramatically upwards, it will signal the end of our current money system.. In a fiat system collapse, gold will remain as the only real money.  People who hold wealth in an unjust form, such as dollars or any faith-based currency are putting their faith in the systems of fraud, coersion, unjust weights and measures, all of which are necessary for things like "dollars", and all of which are an abomination to the Lord as much as homosexuality!  I think it is likely that the AntiChrist will use gold, or an electronic currency based on gold, as the basis for his 666 mark of the beast system. Thus, during the era of chaos that the AntiChrist steps into, gold might be used for commerce.  Gold is the Biblically approved form of money, but, in and of itself, will not provide an escape the 666 system that will swiftly move into place to trap all men during the Great Tribulation. The dollar, and all fiat currencies are an abomination of accurate weights and measures, and embody dishonesty and fraud at their core. Gold, is, indeed, a corruptable thing when men corrupt its proper use through leasing, usury, and fiat paper money systems.

    The last piece of advice the Lord Jesus Christ gave to the lukewarm Loadician Church before the rapture was:

    [Rev 3:18] I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

    I agree that there is a profund spiritural truth there; to seek the Holy Spirit and the Blood of Christ above all things, but I can't help but realize the literal truth to the statement as well.
